Did you know that retired military and service dogs in Australia receive no health benefits? After years of service, the cost of caring for these dogs falls directly on their handlers and owners.

We didn't believe it either when we first heard it. But it's true.

Working Paws Australia exists to change this. They support the owners and handlers who take these dogs into their homes after service, and who carry the cost of their care alone.

We wanted to help in the way we can. Every retired service dog in the Working Paws community now has a lifetime Premium membership to PawHealthAI, 70 of them, at no cost, for life. It means their owners have every record, reminder and detail in one place, so less time is spent searching and more is spent giving these dogs the life they've more than earned.

But free memberships are only part of it. The bigger problem is that almost no one knows this injustice exists. So we're using our platform to change that, telling this story to our community, and giving our partners a way to help where they can. A problem this quiet only changes when more people know about it.
