Getting started
01What is PawHealthAI?
PawHealthAI is a pet-care app built around one continuing profile for each pet. Records, observations, reminders, and guidance stay together so context doesn’t disappear between vet visits, boarding stays, or care handoffs.
02Why was PawHealthAI created?
PawHealthAI grew from two care moments experienced by co-founder Jim and his family. Jersey ate rat poison while they were away in an unfamiliar town, and Jim had to search and call for emergency help. Later, Jim’s daughter Maddie was sent home from Mocha’s appointment because the clinic had not mentioned a required fecal sample. When Jim and Akash spoke about both experiences, the need was clear: pet owners needed one place for answers and a connected health story.
03Who is PawHealthAI for?
The app is for pet owners who want to organise everyday care and track their dog or cat’s health over time. PawHealthAI also works with employers, breeders, vets, and pet-care partners through separate programs.
04What makes PawHealthAI different?
Many pet tools solve one moment: a reminder, a search, a record. PawHealthAI centres on the pet instead. Every record, observation, and care task builds on the same story, making context more valuable over time.
05Where is PawHealthAI available?
PawHealthAI is live on iOS and Android. Some features vary by location: Near Me is in select regions, Marketplace is Australia-only, and Vet-ready reports are coming soon.

New pet owners
01Is PawHealthAI useful for first-time pet owners?
Yes. PawHealthAI gives first-time pet owners one place for records, routines, reminders, observations, and everyday questions. It reduces overwhelm while keeping your vet central to health decisions.
02When should I create a profile for my new pet?
Create a profile as soon as your pet arrives home. Start with what you know (breed, age, vaccinations), add early records from the breeder or shelter, and update as you learn more.
03What information should I collect for a new puppy, kitten or adopted pet?
Start with: age, breed, sex, weight, vaccination records, any medications, allergies, and vet paperwork from the breeder or shelter. Add notes about routines or recent changes. Do not guess medical details. Confirm them with your vet.
04Can Evie help with everyday questions about a new puppy or kitten?
Yes. Evie can help with routines, nutrition, behaviour, grooming, preventive care, medication-safety questions, and preparing for vet visits. Evie cannot examine your pet, diagnose conditions, or replace a vet.
05How can PawHealthAI help me prepare for my pet’s first vet visit?
Keep records, medications, questions, and observations in one place before the appointment. This helps you remember what to share and what to ask. Your vet handles the examination and clinical decisions.
06Can I use PawHealthAI if I do not have my pet’s full history?
Yes. This is common with adopted and rescue pets. Add what you know, leave uncertain details blank, and update as reliable records arrive. Your vet’s records remain authoritative.
07How can weekly check-ins help when a new pet is settling in?
Weekly check-ins let you track appetite, energy, activity, weight, and changes you notice. Over time, patterns emerge that help you know your pet better and discuss concerns with your vet confidently.

Existing pet owners
01Can I start using PawHealthAI for an adult or senior pet?
Yes. Start a profile whenever you’re ready. Add what you know now, include past records you have, and build forward from here.
02How do I bring my pet’s existing records into Pawport?
Add profile details, vaccinations, medications, allergies, weights, vet visits, notes, and documents manually to Pawport. Review as you enter and confirm medical details with your vet’s records.
03What if my pet’s records are spread across different veterinary clinics?
Collect records from each clinic and add them to Pawport. PawHealthAI organises your data in one place, but each clinic’s records remain the official source for the care they provided.
04Can I manage more than one pet in PawHealthAI?
Yes. Premium lets you manage multiple pets with separate profiles for each. Check the app or Pricing page for current limits and features.
05Are weekly check-ins useful for adult and senior pets?
Yes. For adult and senior pets, small changes accumulate. Weekly tracking of appetite, energy, activity, and weight in one place reveals patterns you’d miss from memory alone. You spot subtle decline early and discuss it with your vet confidently. Check-ins don’t diagnose, but they give your vet crucial context.
06How can PawHealthAI help when my pet’s routine or medication changes?
When your pet’s routine or medication changes, keep everything consolidated in one place so nothing gets lost. Update their profile with new medications, dosages, and routines. Set reminders so you don’t miss doses. Use Evie to clarify everyday questions about the change. But confirm all medication decisions and treatment changes with your vet.
07Can PawHealthAI help when I change vets or leave my pet with a caregiver?
When you change vets, your new clinic gets a complete picture instead of hunting through scattered records. When you leave your pet with a caregiver, they have medications, allergies, routines, and history in one place. No missing information. Vet-ready reports (coming soon) will let you share a formatted summary directly. Your vet’s clinic records remain the official source.

Pawport, Ask Evie, Schedule & more
01What is Pawport?
Pawport is the owner-managed record that travels with the pet. It keeps profile details, vaccinations, medications, weights, allergies, vet visits, notes, reminders and documents together in one place the owner controls.
02What is Evie?
Evie is your AI pet-health companion. She answers everyday questions about routines, nutrition, behaviour, grooming, and medication safety. Her answers are specific to your pet because she uses your Pawport data. She cannot diagnose, prescribe, or replace your vet.
03What can I ask Evie?
Ask Evie about routines, nutrition, behaviour, grooming, medication safety, changes you’ve noticed, and preparing for vet visits. She uses your pet’s history to give specific answers. For urgent concerns, go directly to your vet or emergency clinic. Evie may make mistakes.
04What is Paws & Reflect?
Paws & Reflect is a 60-second weekly check-in where you note appetite, energy, activity, and weight. Over weeks and months, these small observations build patterns you’d never spot from memory alone. You can share them with your vet when they matter.
05How do Schedule and reminders work?
Schedule links appointments, medications, and reminders to your pet’s care history in one place. You see the next care task instantly instead of hunting through your calendar or notes. Nothing gets missed.
06What are Near Me and Marketplace, and where are they available?
Near Me finds local vets and groomers in select regions. Marketplace gives you curated wellness, training, and accessory offers from trusted partners in Australia. Both connect you to care resources without leaving the app. Marketplace is not medical advice or clinical recommendations.
07What are Vet-ready reports, and are they available yet?
Vet-ready reports (coming soon) let you compile your pet’s health summary and share it with a vet, caregiver, or pet sitter with one click. Instead of explaining your pet from scratch, you send a complete picture. They won’t diagnose, recommend treatment, or replace your vet’s records.

Safety and veterinary care
01Does Evie diagnose, prescribe or replace a veterinarian?
No. Evie helps you understand what you’re seeing and prepare for your vet. She answers everyday questions confidently. But your vet examines, diagnoses, and recommends treatment. Evie supports your vet; she doesn’t replace them.
02What should I do if my pet needs urgent help?
If your pet is in distress or symptoms feel urgent, contact a veterinarian or emergency clinic immediately. Evie is not an emergency service, cannot examine your pet and may not recognise every emergency.
03How does Evie use my pet’s profile?
Evie uses your pet’s age, breed, medications, health history, and recent observations to give answers specific to them rather than generic advice. The more complete your profile, the better her guidance. Keep it updated so Evie stays accurate.
04Who controls profile information and saved conversations?
The pet owner controls the PawHealthAI profile and the information they add to it. Evie conversations save automatically so they can be revisited. Owners should review saved information before relying on it or sharing it with someone involved in their pet’s care.
05How does PawHealthAI relate to clinic records, and what limitations should owners understand?
PawHealthAI consolidates your records, observations, and memories in one place you control. Your vet’s clinic records remain the official source. PawHealthAI information may be incomplete or entered incorrectly, so confirm medical details with your vet before acting on them. Your vet decides what’s clinically important.

Pricing, plans, and partnerships
01Does PawHealthAI offer Free and Premium plans?
Yes. PawHealthAI offers qualitative Free and Premium experiences. Current features, limits and upgrade details are shown in the app and on the Pricing page, so owners can review what applies before choosing a plan.
02How can employers offer PawHealthAI?
Employers can explore PawHealthAI as an optional pet-wellbeing benefit. Employees choose whether to opt in and use the app directly. Organisations can request the employer pack through the Employers page.
03What is the breeder early-access direction?
We’re exploring how breeders can document their puppies’ and kittens’ early health records and hand them to new owners through PawHealthAI. It’s a pilot program, not a full portal or integration yet. Interested breeders can contact us through the Breeders page.
04How can veterinary professionals participate?
Vets can join our feedback group to shape how Vet-ready reports work and how owners share health context with clinics. You help guide the roadmap without endorsing PawHealthAI. Your clinic records remain the official source. Interested vets can contact us through the Vets page.
05How can partners or other organisations contact PawHealthAI?
Pet-care partners can use the Partnerships page, and employers, breeders, veterinary professionals and investors can use their dedicated pages. For research, media or general company enquiries, use the Contact page or email info@pawhealthai.com.au.
